Introducing a novel, new cassette called Paraform®. This innovative cassette design differs from standard cassettes due to its unique sectionability. Specimen orientation can now be preserved from grossing through sectioning. Simply gross a specimen and orient it in one of 3 available cassette types: Standard, Biopsy, or Orientation. The Paraform® cassette eliminates the need to open the cassette and reorient tissue during embedding, thus simplifying embedding, increasing productivity, and streamlining tissue preparation. And like paraffin, Paraform® is easily sectioned.

What's more, the Paraform® cassette is compatible with all existing laboratory methods and manual embedding processes. In addition, it can accommodate a variety of specimens, even those requiring special orientation like skin or arterial specimens.

For ultimate productivity, Paraform® provides total automation of the embedding process when used with the Tissue-Tek® AutoTEC™ Automated Embedding System.
