actim™ PARTUS

actim™ PARTUS is an immunochromatographic dipstick test based on monoclonal antibodies. It detects a phosphorylated form of IGFBP-1 from decidua. As the cervix matures, the membrane layers detach from each other. The phosphorylated form of IGFBP-1 produced by decidual cells is then liberated and leaks into the cervix as a reliable predictor of the onset of labour.
