The Tissue-Tek^® SmartWrite^® Slide Printer provides fast on-demand high resolution alpha numeric and 1D/2D barcode printing with a footprint small enough to fit next to the microtome.

The Tissue-Tek^® SmartWrite^® Slide Printer is a high resolution thermal transfer printer designed for on-demand slide label printing of black or color identifiers directly onto microscope slides for use in pathology and cytology laboratories. The slide printer’s uniquely formulated thermal ink provides easy to read printing that is chemically resistant and smudge proof when dry. The high resolution (300 dpi) makes it possible for the microscope slide label printer to print alphanumeric characters, as well as 1D and 2D barcodes and graphics.
